One of the original red, medium-viscosity, very high-strength threadlocker formulations from the 1950s. Designed for locking and sealing large diameter, coarse-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where compliance to Mil-S-22473E Grade AVV is required.
When you need to lock and seal large diameter, coarse-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where certification to Mil-S-22473E Grade AVV is required, choose LOCTITE® Grade AVV (86). This red, medium viscosity, very high strength anaerobic curing adhesive cures in the absence of air and presence of metal. It also fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
