LOCTITE® 55 is designed for sealing of metal and plastic pipes and fittings. It needs no cure time and results in an immediate, full pressure seal. The ideal choice for a quick, easy and reliable seal. The product has approval for natural gas, hydrogen gas and potable water.
- Tested in accordance with EN 751-2 Class ARp and DIN 30660
- DVGW/KTW approval for gas and potable water
- Certified to NSF/ANSI, Standard 61
- WRAS listed – approval number 1807518, meets BS 6920 for potable water: 0808533
- Complies with KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 requirements for hydrogen gas

How to
Step by Step Guide
1. Application
Starting at the end of the pipe, wrap the cord around the pipe in a cross shape, following the same direction as the thread. The recommended number of turns is on the label. Cut the cord using the tool integrated into the top of the container.
2. Assembly
Assemble according to accepted practices. 45° adjustment is possible after tightening.
