A 1-part, thixotropic silicone sealant paste that is perfect for applications such as stamped sheet metal covers (timing covers and oil sumps), where you need good oil resistance and resistance to high joint-movement.
LOCTITE® SI 5702 is a gray, thixotropic, oxime silicone sealant paste with excellent oil resistance and resistance to high joint-movement. It cures at room temperature and withstands on-line, low-pressure tests prior to curing. Ideal for stamped sheet metal covers (timing covers and oil sumps), it has been specifically designed for easy manual dispensing from low pressure dispensing systems.
- 1-part: no mixing required
- Room temperature vulcanizing (RTV)
